![]() ![]() It's the core gameplay that feels like it's missing something. The effects are nice for the most part, and the game handles pretty well. But the game clearly downplays how beautiful the PS3/X360 version of the game is most of the time. The "highly accurate rending pipeline" is a nice touch, and the upscaling is very pretty. It has some nice features that appeal to certain types of gamers. But that's not to say that it's a terrible game. Not going to lie, I'm officially a bigger fan of the PS3/X360 version of Tiger Woods 08 than the PC version. That's probably due to the fact that it's harder to get bogged down in menus when playing a game that's actually fun. While Tiger Woods 07 is a decent game, I personally feel that Tiger Woods 08 connects better with a PC than Tiger Woods 07 did. I can honestly say that this is the Tiger Woods I remember from my childhood. PC versions of Tiger Woods 7/08 are much closer to the feel of the game than their PS3/X360 counterparts. While a lack of any meaningful changes aside from some new courses and game modes means that it's hard to expand further, the game still delivers the glaring flaws from its generally mediocre last-gen version. It also looks and plays a tad better than that version, with some solid looking cars, reddish-tan courses, and two new game modes. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 Multiplayer PC Version 0.165.4 - Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 is a big-time step up from the last PC iteration, and EA says that it's made to look and feel like the PS3/X360 version.
